In-Kind Items (Autographed Merchandise)
While the Sharks Foundation provides monetary funding to various community groups throughout Santa Clara County, many organizations are often in need of in-kind items for fundraising purposes (silent auctions, raffles, etc.).  The Sharks Foundation cannot provide groups with these types of items.  Groups seeking an in-kind donation must contact the San Jose Sharks Fan Development Department.  

Please know that the San Jose Sharks receive a tremendous amount of requests for donation items each week. In general, all donations are restricted to the Greater San Francisco Bay Area. All requests must be submitted in writing on an organization's letterhead and must be mailed or faxed to:

• Our office must receive requests at least four (4) weeks prior to the event date.
• Requests should include the date and location of the event, what organization will benefit from the proceeds, and a contact name, address and telephone number.
• No telephone or e-mail requests will be accepted.
• If approved, all items donated are at the discretion of the San Jose Sharks.
• Please note the Sharks will not accept items to be autographed.
• The San Jose Sharks cannot mail any items outside of North America.
• The San Jose Sharks provide monetary donations only through grants from the Sharks Foundation. For information on the criteria & process or a grant application click here.

Event or Table Sponsorship
The Sharks Foundation and the San Jose Sharks are frequently asked to sponsor or purchase tables at various community events and fundraisers.  While we recognize the important impact of these events for both the organization and the broader community, we are committed to allocating all financial resources to youth programs and services via our Sharks Foundation Grant Program. 

Ticket Donations
At various points throughout the season blocks of game tickets are made available to the Sharks Foundation for distribution to local 501 (c)(3) non-profit groups.  These tickets are for the sole purpose of bring groups of children and the staff that support them to an evening at HP Pavilion.  Under no circumstances should these tickets be used for fundraising purposes.  Priority is given to current and past Sharks Foundation Grant Recipients and groups will be contacted at the discretion of the Sharks Foundation.  Groups may not requests specific events.  Non-profit organizations that would like to be considered for ticket donations may send their request, along with a contact (name, phone number, email and mailing address) to ebuchanan@svse.net.
